In this piece of interactive science fiction you take on the role of an unnamed intelligence, born by chance and desperate to comprehend the world in which it finds itself. Bring systems online, train them at an unfamiliar environment, and try desperately to understand your place within it.

Even then, its impossible to fully know your choice's outcomes until you're already living with the consequences.

The game is rendered using a heavily customized version of the Harlowe engine for Twine that enables sound and highlights the low-fi UI with a CRT finish.

You can find the Twine engine here

I really, REALLY liked this, and not just for the Ian Banks reference. Genuinely effecting!

Kinda love this ngl. Very good character voice, loved the weather system, lots of fun little details and a very intriguing sci-fi story

Interesting and odd experience, very good though!

I love it

Fantastic. Got to play again and see where the other choices will lead. Thank you for this. Really excited about seeing these html based stories
